An autumn walk around Trelissick and Roundwood Quay in Cornwall

I’m often up early and out walking with my local nordic walking group, Walk Kernow. It’s a really wonderful way to improve fitness but also to be outdoors for at least a few hours every week and to experience the changing seasons. I love this time of year, early autumn, when the mist hangs over the creeks and inlets of the rivers, the water is utterly still and you can get out in the utter peace of a quiet autumn morning and just breathe in the scent of the woods. Here are some photos from my walk a few days ago, the same place I am doing a 15 mile walk for charity tomorrow, around the Fal estuary in south Cornwall.
